Fed up with the normal "Motor Trade" approach to work standards, Roger formed "Reflections" in 1988 after many years
of learning on individual cars and a few years as a paint representative.
The work at this stage was preparation and welding of cars to a high standard, producing paintwork for "Very Deep
Shines" for the custom car market with VW's, such as AlfaBug featuring in the January 1992 "Street Machine" Magazine and a
VW Beetle on the front page of the October 1993 edition of "VW Motoring"
Larger workshop premises were found with more staff and Roger was joined by Ken Rose.
Several years of production, renovating, restoring and special painting evolved into producing a Ford Mustang, Triumph
Stag, Triumph TR6 and a Jaguar S Type to name but a few, all to a very high standard of workmanship including an MGB Roadster,
owned by Roger Sargeant, which claimed 1st place 1972 - 1990 Open Car Masterclass Concours at Bromley Pageant 2005 and
2006!
Reflections moved again to our current premises with a much larger workspace and a Burntwood spray oven. The 5 members
of staff raised the standards even higher and a total restoration produced a front cover with a Ford Transit Pick-up for the
March 2007 issue of "Classic Van & Pickup" magazine, followed by a Triumph Herald 12/50 featured in the August 2008 "Triumph
World".
The Following month produced another winner, this time an Opal Manta 400 featured in the September 2008 issue of "Total
Vauxhall" magazine, and a Ford Corsair 2000E show winner in the November 2008 "Classic Ford" Magazine.
Other full restorations finished to the highest standard include a Rolls Royce 20/25, a Bently Muliner Park Ward Coupe
and currently we have around 20 vehicles such as a Lancia Aurellia, a Lamborghini Countach, Rover P4 & P5,
E-Type Jaguar and an Austin A60.
